Yes, I did do tests. It survived the "Too many calls in progress" error.

@prpr19xx I had a look at your changes and I am a little bit confused why it worked and then suddenly it stopped working. Maybe a fw update?

Firmware versions are irrelvant. There hasn't been any change which would affect this.
It always did work prior to this change, most of the time. It's just that when other things went wrong they stopped the script, and now they don't stop the script. That's all.
