Should this article include features exclusive to Pixels, like the Pixel Launcher?

[edit]

This article includes features in the Pixel Launcher, like the unified search bar. Would it be better if these were separate or removed completely? Ksp-atlas (talk) 07:07, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I would say probably not. The bare-bones Android 13 stock version is not the same as the Pixel launcher. InfiniteNexus (talk) 20:30, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Future disambiguation

[edit]

This is a little bit of WP:CRYSTAL, since we won't be having this problem until several years later, but what should the disambiguation be for Android OS versions if/when they are needed? Android 14, Android 15, Android 16, Android 17, Android 19, Android 20, and Android 25 are redirects, so per WP:ONEOTHER a hatnote is sufficient and we won't have any issues. But for Android 18 and Android 21, those have articles, so they will need to be disambiguated with (character). And what of the Android OS version? (operating system) doesn't sound right, but (operating system version) is too wordy. What do editors think of (Google), even though WP:NCDAB discourages proper nouns in disambiguations? InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:56, 3 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

they might return to dessert names in the future ya know 204.100.235.138 (talk) 20:13, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Update: Android 21 has been redirected, so Android 18 is now the only one that will require disambiguation. InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:23, 10 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
