Basse-Pointe (French pronunciation: [bas pwet]; Antillean Creole: Baspwent, [baspwet]) is a town and commune in the French overseas department and region, and island of Martinique.

Basse-Pointe has a tropical rainforest climate (Koppen climate classification Af). The average annual temperature in Basse-Pointe is 26.5 degC (79.7 degF). The temperatures are highest on average in August, at around 27.6 degC (81.7 degF), and lowest in February, at around 25.1 degC (77.2 degF).
