World Boxing Tour
The World Boxing Tour is a new circuit of competitions which will be organised by the International Boxing Association (IBA).
Events will take place across the world and will be classified into one of four categories - diamond belt, golden belt, silver belt and bronze belt.
Diamond belt is the most prestigious rank, leading down to bronze belt.
IBA President Umar Kremlev said the World Boxing Tour would give more top-level competition opportunities for boxers.
They will fight against rivals from other continents more regularly, improving their skills and experience.
All of the events will also offer points for the IBA's rankings system.
"For many years, IBA has delivered World Boxing Championships for men, women and youth," said Kremlev.
"The World Boxing Tour was designed to expand the opportunities we make available for boxers around the world to participate in international tournaments featuring the best boxers.
"We are excited to partner with National Federations to deliver the World Boxing Tour and help turn the dreams of boxers worldwide into reality."
Hosting outlines have been provided to IBA member nations, including all requirements, financial expectations, governance models and more.
The benefits of hosting have also been promoted, with the aim of interested countries becoming engaged in the bid process from an early stage.
Countries have been promised a straightforward bidding process, with the World Boxing Tour committed to creating shared values by facilitating exchanges between athletes, spectators, media and organisers.
