At 11 o'clock on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, the armistice was signed ending World War I, a four-year conflict that had left 10 million persons dead, 21 million wounded, and 7.7 million missing or imprisoned. It was this date and time that inspired the institution of Armistice Day in 1921, a day of remembrance in honour of war veterans and victims that later came to be known as Veterans Day in many countries. It's so sad that so many people lost their lives for a war that probably didn't need to happen in the first place. I really hope that we can avoid conflicts on this scale in the future.
I am on Twitter and Facebook -All over the internet about the first settlers and pioneers in Canada/Alberta,from;South Dakota/U.S.A..My Dad-Mr.H.C. Bradbury; a world war 2 veteran.He came home and after sending ALL his hard earned Cheques to his starving family in Alberta Ca. (10) siblings/mother/father;he had "no" money for his own family and we were raised and had to get our own money.The only daughter and the youngest/myself prayed and worked for the "lord" for money-never got paid-! My Dad and mother worked very hard and; for the "lord" as well!They both took sick and suffered many illnesses but;continued to work-hard! Today....I am barely hanging on and have had sickness as well.I also had an uncle-my Dads oldest brother-his name was "Ray-Bradbury" fought and came home to Alberta.Ca!Did he have any money left????-"unknown" but probably Not!!! "American's" in general are my cousins....."Ray Bradbury"-the writer/Aurthor-of science fiction and many books is probably a relative as well.In ending this message -"I am still here"-;I work hard and; still no "pay"! Also....,the "Lord" works in mysterious way's And when he gets "Angry!!"- "I" am the one that hears him.I continue to pray and work -for "him" and,as injured as I am now;Mentally and Physically exhausted!!! The "Church" and;we have the most per capita in "Edmonton/City of Champions!" I knew of this event 40 long and tenuous years ago and;when I was in my prime.....Mentally and Physically!! I also have a question and it is for some of the most intelligent and hopefully with "lots" of "money".....- Why are "Polar Bears" dying and advancement in technology-(all areas)- expanding and thriving?? "Simple" math and,this does not equate and escapes me and;the "Lord"!!!! He is speaking to "me" and "me" alone.I tell him over and over that "I" am but "one" and have never made a dime for "him" and cannot afford to save the earth!! (Mother Earth and; all of her riches)....I am guessing....(Father Time) has won??? The Prize??? {??????} and more..; (???????) arise.Just try and explain this to many,many non believers and believers alike!!! Please as I would like to see that!! Also....I would like to retire but;that is virtuously impossible as "I" am the only one that "I" know of that he/the "Lord" speaks to in words of "Anger" and of "Defeat" and;"Disgust"!!!! Also...he tells me that he is going to kick us all out of "His-House!!!!" So...Let us "ALL"-"PRAY" and; do nothing but.Do nothing but as he has told me that it has "ALL" been said and;done before!!! There is nothing left to do but "PRAY" and;save this Planet- The only one we have!!!!
