HP Slate 500 specs revealed - what was confirmed, plus one big surprise
One great thing from the unboxing and review video that was previously leaked was that we finally got some hard, concrete specs on the HP Slate. Previous reports had the unit pegged with a single core Intel Atom processor, a measly 32gb of storage and no clue on if it can handle any type of HD video. Well we've broken down the video for you and got the specs listed for your consumption. Check it out after the break.

What's interesting here is that HP may possibly be offering their own 3G service under the "HP Broadband Wireless" along with the slate launch. That would definitely put it on par with the Apple iPad and their built-in 3G offerings.

All indications are pointing to yes. A pre-December prototype leak, plus general availability of parts and software now I would say we'll see the Windows 7 version this year, with the webOS version launching late January.
