IGN.com presents THE BEST OF 2005 IGN.com
Best Game No One Played
Publisher: SEGA
Developer: Monolith Productions

Why It Rocked: Though in terms of revenue Condemned was the fifth best selling title on the system, it was closer to the middle of the pack of 360 games if you look at actual units sold. This difference can be attributed to the fact that Condemned costs $60, while some of the first-party titles that were underneath it cost only $50. Given the limited amount of titles available at launch, the fact that its only been around one month since the titles went on the market and the fact that Condemned is such a good game, it deserves to sell more units than it did, and is therefore the winner for this category. Of course there were other Xbox 360 titles available at launch that didn't sell as well as Condemned, but they also weren't nearly as good. If you haven't already experienced the terrifying experience that is Condemned: Criminal Origins, you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy. Without it, you won't have experienced the full range of what the Xbox 360 is capable of.
