But if I compress a Steam game, is it still playable or does it have to be uncompressed before being launched? |

It is playable. Windows uncompresses it automatically, on the fly. |

if windows uncompresses a game on launch, then would that mean when you launch a game it reverts back to its normal size? |

Nope, the decompression happens in memory when the data is loaded, it only reverts to its original size if you change the file. |

When does this software support windows compression if enabled? since version 4 it doesn't support it, so I can't recompress files anymore when windows compression is enabled. |
